Supreme Pizza Pinwheel Poppers are the perfect Game Day appetizer! Store-bought crescent roll dough is wrapped around shredded mozzarella cheese, spicy pepperoni, and chopped green peppers. They’re baked and then served with your favorite pizza sauce (or ranch!) for dipping.
Gently flour a large cutting board and rolling pin with a little bit of flour. Roll the dough out to 10×12 rectangle. Cut the dough into two 5×12 rectangles.
Brush the melted garlic butter over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Evenly sprinkle the cheese between the two sheets of dough. Sprinkle with green peppers. Layer the pepperoni on top. Roll up tightly, jelly-roll style. Pinch the seams together.
Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 24 (12 on each roll) pizza pinwheel poppers.
Generously grease two mini muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. Place the pizza pinwheel poppers in the pan, cut-side down and facing up. Bake until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 10-12 minutes. Serve with pizza sauce and ranch for dipping.
