Ingredients

  • 3 cups packed basil, roughly choppped
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup blanched and peeled almonds (it's easier if they are already sliced or slivered)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except oil in food processor or blender. Blend until a paste has formed.  Slowly drizzle in both oils.  Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with your favorite pasta, chicken or fish!
